Wrap selection in dollar bracket – $(someText)

This might only save a keystroke or two but after using it for a while I find it easier to type than the alternative. Replaces the string $V (uppercase V) with $() and places the cursor in the middle of the brackets. Replaces the string l8i with the string LOAD * INLINE [Īnd leaves your cursor in the second line. They have become second nature to me, to the point where sometimes I’ll forget I’m on another machine when I’m still hitting the key combination for one of the snippets and it doesn’t work.
